TitleTech is licensed by the state of North Carolina as a title insurance agent. TitleTech supports the approved attorney system and will issue no binder or final title insurance policy without first receiving a preliminary or final opinion on title [as applicable] from a North Carolina licensed attorney. TitleTech neither gives legal advice nor engages in any activity that would constitute the practice of law in violation of the provision of Chapter 84 of the North Carolina General Statutes. TitleTech has attorneys to whom we can refer our customers for all legal matters arising out of or pertaining to their closing or we will work with our customer’s attorney provided he or she is an approved attorney with our underwriters.
